CROSS SECTION ELECTRICAL MOTORS EM-25 Series   Downloadable Data Sheet   These items are original electric motors, which have been carefully cross sectioned to expose all key operational parts.  They are ideal for demonstrating to students the function and operation of different types of electric motors.  A variety of cross sectioned motors are available so different operational characteristics can be compared.  Motors are mounted on a melamine base and electrical connections are brought out to 4-mm safety terminals socket.   Motors are available from 1/4 hp (187 watt) to 5 hp (3750 watt) depending upon the university's requirements.  Most of the motors below feature a squirrel cage rotor, other types of rotors maybe provided upon request.   Models available:   em-25-01-01 Cross Sectioned universal motor for operation with 240 VAC or DC   em-25-01-02 Cross Sectioned single phase capacitor start induction run Motor   em-25-01-03 Cross Sectioned single phase shaded pole motor   em-25-01-04 Cross Sectioned single phase split-phase capacitor start and run motor   em-25-01-05 Cross Sectioned direct current (DC) motor   em-25-01-06 Cross Sectioned three phase squirrel cage induction motor   em-25-01-07 Cross Sectioned three phase slip ring motor   em-25-01-08 Cross Sectioned three phase synchronous motor   em-25-01-09 Cross Sectioned three phase Dahlander induction motor
